MultiBend 16

The new bending centre MultiBend-16 unites the functions press bending and roller bending in a single machine.

With a pressing force of 16 tonnes the machine makes sufficient force available to undertake a wide range of the pressing, folding and straightening tasks that arise within the sphere of metal construction and metalwork.

The roller drive with 3 individually driven rollers is permanently integrated into the machine. Each drive unit is hydraulically supplied and controlled separately. This means that the maximum torque is available for each drive. The powerful and strong roller drive guarantees high bending capacity and perfect bending results. Very small bending radii can be produced after just the first pass through the rollers.

Both the PP15 and PP45 NC program controls are available for machine control. Bending programs can be created, edited and saved directly on the machine. Target positions are approached precisely, with repeated accuracy and program control.

The NC line motion control PP41 enables the controlled roller bending of bending contours with straight ends, multiple bending radii and clean, kink-free bending radii transitions.
